New impact report 2024-2025!

Our new impact report is here!

This year, Surfpop supported more children – 82 in total! – with a safe, nurturing space filled with waves, learning, and care. Our team delivered 345 surf lessons, 341 education sessions, 151 life-coaching workshops, and 15,170 healthy meals. Children are happier and more confident, with 100% of social workers reporting improved mental wellbeing.

Academic performance rose with most pupils improving in English and Maths despite national declines. So did resilience with every child now using healthy coping tools like surfing, breathing exercises, or talking to a coach.

Environmental awareness grew too: 93% of children value beach clean-ups, and all older learners completed an Ocean Ambassador Program gaining public-speaking skills to advocate for the ocean they love.

High school learners explored real career paths, and 74% of all children now dream about their future professions. While no new learners graduated this year, our alumni continue to thrive — studying at university, working at Surfpop, or building meaningful careers. Surfpop is proud to be shaping futures that reach far beyond the waves!
